

Emily grew up on a small farm outside Sandy, Oregon. Between feeding the chickens and stacking firewood with her younger sister, she discovered a love of the stage, which her parents nurtured throughout her youth. Emily found her niche in the area of dance at age five and has not stopped dancing since. After graduating high school, Emily attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana and earned a bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration and Dance. She immediately took it upon herself to fulfill her life long dream, moved to New York City and never looked back. Emily is now an established dancer, choreographer, performing artist, graphic designer, and balloon artist among other things. She is currently the Executive Director of Gehring Dancetheatre, and regularly works with the indie theater community and Vampire Cowboys Theatre Company. Emily is an avid sci-fi fan and resides with her cat, named Cat, and roommates in the city. |
